GMAC is closely monitoring the progression of COVID-19, ongoing public health guidance and working closely with partners to respond to this situation. Our top priority is the safety our test takers, test center staff, and our community. As test centers begin to re-open, test center procedures have been modified.
Face Masks
Beginning May 12, 2020 all GMAT testing centers will REQUIRE the use face masks*. You will also be allowed to wear disposable gloves. Please ensure you bring your own personal protective equipment (PPE) with you to your assessment appointment. Equipment will not be provided at the testing center.
Face Mask Types Allowed
Surgical or cloth masks may be used. Your mask can be made of any material that appropriately covers your mouth and nose but does NOT cover your ears. Your face mask will also need to be removable, should visual inspection be required. Visit: US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) cloth face covering guidance.
If You Arrive Without a Face Mask
If you arrive without a face mask, you will not be allowed to test. You will be given the opportunity to reschedule your appointment to a future date at no cost to you.
Taking Your Assessment With a Face Mask
You will be required to wear your face mask for your entire assessment. Face masks and/or gloves will need to be removed during the check in process for identity verification and taking your photo.
While in the common access area of the test center, you will be expected to keep your mask on.
What if my Face Mask is Removed During my Assessment?
We understand that this is a new experience for everyone. If your mask is removed during the assessment, your test administrator will request that you put it back on. Failure to comply with test administrator instructions could result in the cancellation of your assessment and your assessment fee will be forfeited.
Social Distancing
To comply with social distancing requirements within waiting areas and the test center, daily appointment volumes have been appropriately reduced. A minimum six-foot distance will be required when in the testing center or waiting areas.
Sanitizing Procedures
Our testing centers have implemented enhanced health and safety measures. This includes providing hand sanitizer and tissues within the test center and in waiting areas. Check-in equipment and testing stations, including the keyboard, mouse, chair, and computer terminal, are sanitized after every use and waiting areas are sanitized throughout the day. For more information visit our testing partners Pearson VUE and PSI.
