“GMAC™ GradSelect is a free search tool that over 500 of the world's graduate business schools use to find candidates for their program. It was created to help candidates get discovered by programs that they may or may not consider yet, as well as efficiently get information from a variety of programs. By simply completing your personal profile on mba.com and opting in to the GradSelect product, your profile information is shared in the GradSelect so schools can find candidates just like you.”
On how GradSelect is like LinkedIn for business school applications
“Searching for the right business school is not unlike any job hunt that you've been on. You maintain a profile on something like LinkedIn, for example, so that recruiters can see that for me I have 15 years of product management experience in education. I also share my skills, my educational background, and other relevant details that tell my career story, and with that recruiters can then access that information, and reach out directly to me with opportunities, introducing me to companies I might not otherwise have known. And so because they know my history and they know what their companies are looking for, they're able to look at the roles they’re recruiting for and find a potential match.”
